Bailiffs Cottage is a beautiful, cosy three-bedroom home from home. It is the idyllic getaway for a family staycation in the countryside.


You can explore the heart of St Osyth and take in its abundance of history on the estate.


You will be waking up to the gentle sound of nature and breathing in the fresh country air. A country retreat is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with the natural world.


Bailiffs cottage welcomes dogs downstairs and there are map routes to walk around the estate.

This is the perfect location to rest and relax for a short or long break. Take a stroll through the country estate to catch glimpses of the glorious surrounding wildlife or along the Colne estuary.


The views on the precinct overlook Darcy House and the old Gatehouse. It truly is exceptional.



Bailiff Cottage is thought to have been constructed in the late 16th century from recycled materials. It was converted into a cottage in the 19th century and has recently been refurbished.
