Wedding Showcase is huge success

St Osyth Priory held its first Wedding Showcase event at the end of February, with more than 80 happy couples taking the chance to explore the estate and discuss their wedding day preparations.

As well as the team of expert wedding planners at St Osyth Priory, visitors could also find answers and inspiration from a varied selection of trusted suppliers including Luca’s Cakes, B Celebrant, Maldon Events, Party Squared, W Flowers, AAA Wedding Cars and Fox and Braces outfitters.

With a series of private tours arranged throughout the day, it was a great opportunity for engaged couples to see the plans for their wedding day start to come to life in a setting that has limitless possibilities as the backdrop to a wedding day celebration with a true sense of luxury and legend.

At the centre of the day’s activities was the recently renovated Darcy House, which now boasts two stunning function suites, Darcy House Great Hall and Darcy House The Gallery. Each function space has the capacity for 110 seated guests, while featuring elegant detailing originating from the 16th century.

Guests also had the chance to explore the estate grounds, the original chapel and the rose gardens, each of which offer their own unique elegance and grandeur to whatever style of wedding you desire, whether catering for many hundreds or hosting the most intimate of boutique weddings.

While wedding bookings are already filling up the diary for 2024 and 2025, there are still some late availability dates for 2023 as this stunning wedding venue begins a new era following a multi-million-pound restoration and refurbishment.
